Double "A" Provisions continues on as one of the oldest companies in the area, founded by Abraham Aronson in 1932 as a beef trading and processing company. In 1977 Ben Aronson, Abraham's grandson, acquired the operation and embarked on a path to turn Double "A" into a broad-line distributor of foodservice products in including fresh meats, poultry, frozen foods, dry goods and fresh seafood. That process culminated in 2002 when Double "A" joined the Palmer Food Services family of companies spanning New York State. With this change Double "A" has begun a new and exciting era of growth and expansion, bringing to bare greater purchasing power and resources on behalf of our customers. Still locally managed and operated in Glens Falls, we now serve an area stretching from the Capital District all the way to the Canadian border and Western New England.

Throughout all these changes and all the years Double "A" Provisions continues to stand for unparalleled quality in meat, seafood and poultry provision. To that we have added true broad-line capabilities, including dry goods, dairy products, chemical programs and equipment & supply. Our customers recognize that they now have a viable alternative to the national distribution companies, a local provisioner and business partner. And for that we are grateful and proud.

Obviously, you can purchase products from a variety of sources. It is our job to continuously earn the privilege of doing business with you.
